I voted for Death Note. Sure, the mello/near arc wasn't as good, but even that was still a lot better than a lot of shounen manga out there.

BadCompany -> Shonan Junai Gumi -> GTO, most consistent manga trilogy i've ever read.

although i voted for kekkaishi i would have chosen death note and naruto aswell. its just that i think kekkaishi has a more action packed story line but its not in your face like naruto can be imo. i dont think the ending for death note justifies it to be the best shounen.
