genuinely upset that Ulquiorra died =( he actually made it interesting. and i totally am starting to not like Orihime. she used to b awesome, being the only girl to help go save Ichigo and have that healing power, but now she just seems to be in the way. i mean, geez Ishida's like DYING over there w/out that arm and w/ the sword through his stomach, and your just spazzing over ichigo?? i don't get that xP
and i guess it does kind of make sense w/ the whole Ulquiorra fading to dust. eventho that depresses me. i wonder wat Tite Kubo'll come up with next.....

did Ichigo purify ulquiorra? hollows disintegrate when they are purified. i wonder if hollow ichigo is stronger than the other 3 espada who im certain have two transformations as well. Bankai!

Perhaps Ichigo is nye immortal. And each time he dies, he progresses closer to his ultimate form, a synthesis between hoolow/shinigami/human/ and posiibly royal blood. everytime he dies the new ichigo come back stronger and more like the previous ichigo

Frickin shounen cliches! That was the lamest thing I had ever seen! Why does Ichigo always have to win?! How the hell did he randomly regenerate?! Why is Ishida still alive after getting skewered? Why is Inoue still pathetic?

But most of all, Why did they just kill the coolest character in the manga?! After Bleach went down the tube about 100 chapters ago, he was really the only cool character left. And they killed him through the shounen cliche that the "hero" ALWAYS has to win. F*** that. Ichigo is a sissy pants and doesn't deserve convenient power-ups.

fucking lame. Not even worth an exclamation point lame. Fucking die for real already Ichigo. It's getting worse than DBZ. Atleast there people died. Sure, they were resurrected with the dragonballs, but the point I'm trying to make is that they actually died; if only temporarily.

You know what? I'm actually gonna defend Kubo this time.

This chapter basically makes my theory about Kubo even more valid: He wanted to end this at Soul Society, editors told him that he was going to continue, and he decided to turn it into shit after SS so that it could get canceled. He finds out that the fans eat it up regardless of what he does, so he's like "Fuck it. If anyone's gonna rape my creation, it's gonna be me." How else can you explain how it went from awesome (Start of the manga to end of Soul Society arc) to awful (Start of Arrancar arc to now)? Besides, if Kubo refused to continue Bleach, then Shuiesha would've made it so that he couldn't get another manga published anywhere (They are famous and powerful after all. They may know "certain" people...) And even though I defended Kubo, that doesn't mean he's off the hook. Toriyama was forced too, but he still made the Cell and Buu sagas somewhat good because he cared about the fans. Kubo only cares about his check.

Now for the chapter, the first thing that made me laugh was the color spread. Rukia looks so out of place in that thing. Having 3 big-breasted woman with their bodies exposed and then having one flat-chest that looks sleepy trying to look sexy by covering her body and looking over her shoulder does not work, Kubo. It would've been much better if he replaced Rukia with Yoruichi or Kūkaku (Haven't seen her in a while). And who's leg is that by the Bleach logo?

And there are some things that bother me about this chapter. Didn't the ending of this fight seem a little familiar to anyone? Ichigo's big fight to save the girl was something he couldn't possibly win even with his latest powerup, so he let his inner-hollow go a bit crazy and beat up the enemy before eventually regaining control? Anyone?

And the second thing is the end where everyone feels sorry for Ulquiorra all of a sudden. You can't just have your generic emotionless villain turn out to be someone the good guys sympathize with FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER. "Oh no he's dead! What a tragedy!". He was trying to kill all you fucks just a few minutes ago. He chopped off Ishida's hand. He blew a hole in Ichigo's chest. You don't feel sorry for him afterwards! And what is with Ichigo becoming "Generic shounen protagonist # 9838937019"? "Wah, I want my leg and arm chopped off because then we'll be even!" "Wah, I didn't want to win this way!" I half expected Ichigo to start rolling on the ground and crying in protest. And don't even get me started on Ichigo's sudden regeneration ability, or why Ulquiorra's body is becoming like dust even though all of the other arrancar they fought never did that...

What's his face guy isn't dead. That's why he asked Ichigo to kill him. He probably just blew away somewhere to regenerate the way his eye does. And if what loosecannon says turns out to be true, it would make a whole hell of a lot of sense. Still sucks that's the way it has to be.

well being an ulquiorra fan, it's sad to see him go, but I was satisfied by the way he went...
on the other hand...
I don't even bother complaining about the plot...it's a shonen, and most shonen after a while start using cliches, I just take it at face value, even though I do agree that there are some chapters better than others, but I personally really liked this one....
P.S. I dunno...even though Ulquiorra wanted to kill all of them, it seems like Kubo was throwing out clues that he might have more substance than just being loyal to Aizen adn following his orders...I mean didnt he say he found them "interesting" when in the beginning he thought of them as trash?
On Ichigo's rant, "Cut me up so we can be equal", Grimjow did the same thing when he saved Orihime from Loly and Menoly, he wanted to fight him as equals...so this cliche had been used b4....
