No matter when it's due, it usually comes down to the last day; sometimes I start working on an essay three days before the deadline, but 80% of the work still gets done on the last day.
I just can't work efficiently when I'm not under pressure, but if someone adds pressure that I wasn't anticipating there's a good chance of me cracking.

I always mean to work on it a little every day but....I just don't have the discipline or willpower to make myself do things I don't feel like. Good example: being up at this time when I have work tomorrow. Depending on the assignment, I either start it a few days before or the day of. And I think my work generally suffers for it, not that I do badly, most times, but I don't create work up to my full potential. Though there was one time I pulled a rare literal all-nighter for an essay due the next day that I'd just started and it turned out very well. I had so many points to make in my essay that I ended up fudging the guidelines to squeeze more words in, not less. The problem is that if I have a huge pile of work to due in a short amount of time it is too easy for me to stop caring and just do a shoddy job or even skip the assignment if it isn't worth much.

Good things come to those who wait.

So yes! 🤣 I usually do half of my homework the day it's assigned to me and the other half the night before it's due. ;w; The result is a mess and doesn't make sense! 😃 Either way my teachers give a 100% or a 0% to all the students in my class depending on their mood, since they never grade projects or homework seriously/don't even look at them haha... ><; It pretty much doesn't matter for me as long as I get them done somehow.

But besides school work, I usually try to finish things such as chores asap because my sister tends to slack off all the time and give me more work to do... 😢 So I guess the saying doesn't work in this case. ^^;

Hehe, depends on how you look at it.
Personally I don't think I procrastinate a lot, I just have different priorities.

Homework is a bit unfamiliar, having finished my education for a while now and even then didn't really have homework (almost everything was done at school and in project groups).

I do vaguely remember always finished my homework either right after is was assigned or the night before it was due (depending on the subject and the amount of credits it was worth).

Every time. It'll be 1:05 the morning it's due, "WHY DIDN"T I START THIS EARLIER!?" I never learn my lesson with procrastinating 😀

Depends on whether I want to do it or not. I'm awful at just not bothering if it's not interesting enough..

I'm pretty sure procrastinating is the only thing I can say for sure I'm doing ALL the time (other than... breathing). I never do anything early, I'm always late, I even procrastinate going to bed. It is what I do. Always. :/

Procrastination pretty much defines my life, I have homework... put it off till like 1:00 AM and piss my self off for losing sleep... then I know I have an exam coming up and have all week to study for it... study the day before and pull an all nighter for the exam...

But if it's something like reading manga or accomplishing something on a game, then it's done as fast as possible... such an interesting life. 🙂

I definitely wait til the last few hours to finish it... I used to be pretty good at staying up late then getting an A or B but then I just started falling asleep... My sleep debt caught up with me lol so I would turn in assignments half finished... I always did well on tests but homework would always count more. So let this be a lesson to you kids not to fall asleep while doing homework last minute or you'll have to take extra classes, an online course and 180 hours of community service to graduate!

haha, I like this question. XD Well, to cut it short, I procrastinate on EVERYTHING. Even eating, if i'm on the computer. If I'm reading manga, watching tv, on my computer, reading, etc... even if i have the whole day planned out i procrastinate until... well, the end of the day. and then leave all the stuff i planned for the next day.

now HOMEWORK. haha, omg homework... well, this past year I did my homework in study halls the day they were due, in spanish class (so damn easy and boring...) and... well, at home if i didn't have time to do it the next day. or at lunch. or when i forgot, i'd get it done anyway. ask anyone. Semester exams: all studied for 1/2-2 hours before they started. I will still never know how that happened. My AP exam... well, i didn't really study for that except take two practice tests and do the stuff my teacher assigned us. You have to understand, it was Computer Science. It's something you CAN study for, but if you know what you're doing then just practice testing + practice problems will do the trick. aka, do the in-school studying (what you're assigned) take a couple tests, and you'll be fine. maybe.

I dunno, procrastination kinda works for me. But I was lucky. I was a freshman. This summer I was SUPPOSED to work on my work ethic, but I'm kinda procrastinating on that too. =p trying to break the habit before next year. ...yeah, it probably won't happen. =p
