The male lead gets the girl...

who it's established from the start that he likes, but there's another girl lead who helps him.
It seems like anytime there are manga like this, the mc always ends up with the girl lead he didn't have a crush on begin with. Now if its pretty much established that its going that way, it doesn't bother me, but I've read a few where the whole point of the story is the MC trying to get with the girl he loves, but then in the end because he ends up with the other girl, it seems like that whole journey was pointless to me.
So can anyone help me out? There's a male and female lead with no romance, and he gets the girl he was after from the start.

Hmm, so far Kimi ni Koishite Ii desu ka. seems to fit. But it's not completed yet, so I don't know if the two get together in the end (but I think it's pretty much established that they both like each other).

I'll have to check it out. Thanks. Anyone have anymore suggestions that fit the criteria?

Excel If you're ok with manhwas (not webtoons). The only one I remember going like this.
Also now that I think about it....Andante by the mangaka of Kodocha.
Yeah those didn't really interest me.
Looking at my original post, it seems confusing. When I say "ends up with the original girl, I see it as one of the mangas where the guy has a crush, but then falls for the female leads", but in reverse. He gets with the crush instead of female lead where they aren't romantically involved.

Still confused.
You want a story where the male lead ends up with the "secondary female lead" and the female lead is not someone the male lead is romantically involved with?
Because that's Excel

If that girl was the one who he was vying for from the start.

Yes, the second lead was the girl he was vying for from the start. or from what I can vaguely remember (I read this a long time ago as in years ago) he either was vying or is starting a relationship.

I on the other hand, loves it when the MC changes their original love interest. In other words, I like the category "Love Interest Change." The thing that sucks is this genre seems to predominantly exist only in Shoujo manga and it's more NTR or Love Triangle rather than a genuine love interest change. If you can give me some recommendation for "Love Interest Change" that is not NTR like GE and Domestic Na Kanojo, I'll greatly appreciate it.
As for your interest, I think the majority of the Shounen manga/anime is all about the male lead getting the girl he wants.

I guess it was just more the fact that it got annoying when I chose to read this because he's going after this girl, just to change his mind in the end, annoyed me.

I've read a few where he doesn't. It just annoys me when a story spends the entire time with him focusing on 1 girl and then just gives up and goes to another.
