🤣 Well, it is a Moot point. However I think its more about preference than the actual sexual positioning. If you want to get technical, both could take up either position theoretically.
shrugs I just tend to think deeply about things that don't matter.. In this instance I wanted opinions.

I didn't say anything of sarcasm. I said satire. The difference may be moot to you, but it is otherwise very important, as it DOES carry very well to the written word. Satire is most often written. There are many great written works of satire, and if you'd like, feel free to ask a literary professor for a background.
As for your failing to notice the satire, I apologize, but that doesn't mean an important literary format that can benefit from shock value and is clearly visible (to me, at least, and I didn't write mam's post, meaning I have no benefit of extra knowledge over you) should be removed for your convenience, even if it is from something as classless and casual as a forum. The sharp tongue need not be cut out to placate the dull.

The idea for this thread came about after I read a Yaoi manga. In it one of the main characters has a gay brother who is an uke. The character (who eventually "turns gay") is upset over the fact that his brother "would rather be done than do".
So I thought.. "why is he upset?", the only conclusion would be that the uke could be thought of as "gayer".

OHMYGOSHYES. that's it exactly. what i was trying to say and obviously failed at. again, this is fiction. FICTION. so you can't really say the topic is pointless because yes, this question would be really silly if you were applying it to reality. but here, in gayland, where rape=love and improbable plots and people exist, which one is "gayer" is a perfectly acceptable question to me.

Ah, but you see, I was talking about real people who are gay, and this thread isn't asking about people who are gay, it is asking about people who are in yaoi.
