well, dunno but to me it felt like a filler, waiting a chance/cause to go to serious business like amazons island and Ace's rescue.

well, dunno but to me it felt like a filler, waiting a chance/cause to go to serious business like amazons island and Ace's rescue.
It seemed to me more like a beginning chapter. Updates the readers on current events, and puts the characters in a setting likely to catalyze into a new quest.
