Friendship Scans is a group of passionate manga fans that started in 2012. We enjoy having fun together, whether it be through Bishie Hunts, telling stories on our chat, or staying up all night translating that last chapter!

We are looking for anyone who wants to join our circle of friendship, all positions are open! Available positions are:

In addition, we have two special positions for those who wish to help but may not have previous experience with scanlation:

• Editor-In-Training: Work with one of our editors as a trainee and learn to typeset and clean manga! We have very friendly and talented editors who can build your skills from the ground up. You may even make friends in the process! xD

• Assistant: A general position that helps keep the group going strong! Handles a variety of tasks, which include: recruitment, answering emails, orienting new staff, pulling raws, and more.

— A typesetter puts the proofread text onto the cleaned pages. Makes the words look pretty and easy to read.

— A cleaner cleans. By clean, we mean *** leveling, duplicating, redrawing, cloning, and making the raws look presentable for the typesetter.*** It’s not as bad as it sounds…
