I was playing Final Fantasy War of the Lions...and with the first battle after the tutorial one, I didn't know I had more than 1 character, so I kept going into battle with the main character and his friend.
Until I gave up went back, found the others and kicked myself.

😲 🤣 I thought I was the only one dumb enough to make that stupid mistake.

Another dumb mistake was I was playing a mortal kombat game, (at least I think it was it's been too long) and I had just reached the last level and I thought it'd be smart to just go backwards for no freaking reason so I did and I fell off the damn cliff...I never saved the game 😢 😢
I was so mad I never played the game again...

When I first played pokemon

I couldn't get out of the goddamn house. I wandered that stupid house in pokemon blue for hours wondering how the hell you get out. Bad times XD

I wanted to kick myself when I eventually done it 🤣

Hmmm... Is hard to think in one...

the first time I played Metal Gear I spend the first 2 hours of the game killing all the soldiers in my way (NECK BREAK), as you can guess the game was HARD as hell >_>

😲 I played that game before but I never got far though it was hard. That was my mistake playing a game I knew I wouldn't win.

on GTA san andreas, two missions away from completing the game, i deleted the save file instead of loading it....

I play zelda to the past i finish the game 3 time and almost 7 time just because those 7 try i use a key where i should never have in the ice dungeon
and because of this i had begin a new games be it toke me 7 time to figure out where the key was normaly use and that dungeon is at more then the half of the game.

i felt so stupid at the end i write myself a map for that dungeon. but it been 6 year so i lost my map

lol completed everything in the original Golden Sun (only GBA game i loved) and transferred everything onto the sequel, TLA, only to accidentally override that data - with no backup for either game afterwards...lost of "omg, nfw, wtf?!" factor. couldn't bring myself to pick it up again /sigh

After playing for 6 hour straight, i loaded the previous saved game instead of saving it.

Instead of loading a previous game after I screwed up, I saved. And the only other saved game I had was like at the beginning. I lost like 5 or 6 hrs worth of game play.

After I lost in a game (cant remeber which) I accidently saved. It's really anoying...

when i beat that dungeon (i forgot which) in legend of zelda and turned off the game without saving >.<

second most stupid thing is accutually something that happens a lott with me like in mario (yeah the first one its ancient) or prince of persia sands of time just jumping in the same hole and dieing over and over

I overwrote about 13 hours of gameplay after I accidently saved to the wrong save file. I don't think I've touched that game since.
