This week's poll was suggested by our member Ruruskadoo. If you've finished a series a few months ago and now notice that there's a side story for that series, how likely is it that you'd read it?
You can submit poll ideas here: https://www.mangaupdates.com/topic/kilkdnn/site-manga-poll-suggestions
Previous Poll Results:

I almost always do, but there are a few rare exceptions where I've either elected not to or I actively recommend a series to people with the caveat not to read the side stories because they suck and take away from an otherwise good story.
When the side stories for The Villainess Turns the Hourglass came out I made the decision not to read them because I saw people all over the place talking about how much they hated them, and I was pretty happy with where the main story finished off and I really didn't feel like it needed anything extra.
I also tell people that Don't Call Javotte an Evil Stepsister is a nice quick read with an affectionate brown haired ML with very little relationship drama and a rare case of the sisters not being white lotuses, but the last 15 chapters are side stories that drag on too long and are just uncomfortable, so it's best to stop reading at chapter 45.
Those are pretty unusual edge cases for me though. Typically, I'm the kind of person who can enjoy a whole story all the way to the end of the main story, but if the side stories after mess up the ending, it can retroactively ruin the whole story for me too, so most of the time if I'm considering reading a story that's already finished, I'll take into account people saying the side stories give it a tragic/bad ending or make otherwise likeable characters suck and I'll likely avoid reading the whole series rather than just skipping the side stories.
