Musashi is not someone I'd deem a child warrior. Young maybe, but not a child.
For suggestions:
Eden --> A lot more evident in recent chapters and select arcs. Also more a soldier than the assassin types in Gunslinger Girl or Noir.
Tista --> Main character is an assassin.

If you'd like, there are some yaoi with that theme~
Like Rikugun Renai Shikan Gakkou but that one's more about the smut than the story...
And Maiden rose. Has some young and child soldiers... Also yaoi, but the story seems to be very good. Only 2 chapters out unfortunatly...

Dogs and Dogs bullets and carnage - Main character was part of a genetically engineered group of children designed to fight.
AEGIS - Children trained to fight?
Jormungand - A young child soldier joins a cartel (?) because of his hatred for weaponry
Black Cat - A kid who was trained to kill goes against his master and becomes a wandering vigilante.
Trista - girl who is a trained assassin/sniper
Tenshi Shukushi A heartless assassin with no emotions that tries to establish a life for himself in the little time he is in control of himself.
07 Ghost - A trained soldier and slave escapes from the military and takes refuge in a church.
Full Metal Panic - more lighthearted, but about a guy who was in the military since he was a child trying to adapt to everyday life.
