Yup, kinda plain.
it doesn´t really look like shounen -.- and they should make the monologs more interesting like in death note. This kind of monolgs are okay in manga, but in anime you need to make some action

I guess the anime wasn't too bad, on the whole.
The thing that got me pretty miffed was the whole 'censorship' thing. It's a manga about shounen jump, and Shueisha. They edited shounen jump to shounen jack, and that was awful, considering how the realism of the entire manga was one of its selling points in the first place. I can't imagine how it'd be like further on with all the anime, since I loved how the manga kind of mirrored how publishers run the manga industry to its smallest detail, without censorship.
