The group KEFI is also closing its doors. This one hits home a little more personally, as I've worked with them before on Mx0 with Ossu!. These guys will also be missed.

Even after dead, we raise from the ashes for the sake of manga.

The reason being that I never owned the group despite being about the last active member/administrator, so when the person who did own the group told me he wanted to use the domain for other (less illegal) purposes, I don't have much to say about it.

Thanks for scanlating Piano no Mori and The World Is Mine and introducing me to those two wonderful manga! I really hope someone else picks them up...

what kills a group isn't web issues ... it is usually lack of staff. You expect some turnover and if no one is there to take their place, the group dies.
Thus, if you don't want to see your favorite group die, perhaps learn Photoshop or Gimp (which is free)?

More staff would have probably given me more incentive to keep going. Taking it someplace else wasn't a huge obstacle, but it is if you're the only one doing it.

yup, I agree that it how any group will just disappear. sooner or later, the last few remaining people will get fed up.
