Wow, just finished reading it and I gotta say I love the ending. Too bad Tsukasa only got limited scenes towards the scenes. I used to be a fan of Aya's until I FINALLY got fed up of timidness, and got to know the charms of Tsukasa. If you like the guy, then why aren't you telling your true feelings to him? especially, since you know that there are also other girls after him.

Just because Aya and Junpei has the "same" dreams, it doesn't mean that Junpei is actually happy. Heck, he was more sad of Tsukasa's sad face than Aya's tears.

sorry, if my typing is a bit hard to understand, since English isn ot my native language.

Read the whole 19 volumes again and you will find that the author drops many hints that Manaka will eventually pick Nishino.

i may actually soon
but i never gave her much thought as she kept being dropped out of the plot randomly only to appear again later for a few chapters, only to fade away for another stretch of time. with hardly mention of her in her absense, but ill get back to that when i get back to reading it sometime

To me this it felt like the she 'meant' for the ending to be Manaka and Aya when the first chapter or so started out, but when she introduced and started writing about Tsukasa, Tsukasa's character developed better then expected. As the series progressed Tsukasa slowly became more and more likeable, to the point where Manaka and Tsukasa became a very possible outcome. I think this is a good example of the story changing the author herself xD

You know after i finished reading ending the first thing i thought of was the story aya wrote. At the beginning of the manga, i like every one else wanted manaka to get up with aya, but as the story went on i just hated the thought of manaka ending up with aya and wanted him to end up with nishino. But i still thought the author would get him up with aya because, that was the cliche. But the ending took me by total suprise and it made me relise that aya was the princess and nishino the fellow worker. and if you think about it it makes sense like how did aya share a dream with manaka other then manaka wanting to make a movie out of ayas book. This wasnt her dream but manaka's and with his help that she got those awards for her writing; if it hadnt been for him relising aya's talent she probably wouldnt have entered the literature club. Nishino on the other hand knew exactly what her dream was, and even if it wasnt the same as manaka's, it had the same feeling; they both wanted do what they loved the best and they did all they could to achive it.

I think it turned out like someone said, Nishino's character just ended up going well with the story and really popular. Not many stories go against the set up of meant to be together like aya being the girl he was looking for. Kinda reminds me of Shuffle a tad bit, I mean it focuses so much on 3 of the girls, the bam, tomboyish friend comes out after appearing in snipits throughout the whole story.

at the start i sorta like aya a lot more than tsukasa... but then after they left middle school aya's personality doesnt seem to be that interesting... >.> the story was pretty good until they got into high school and i could guess the ending....
btw wats her first name tsukasa or nishino?

SOMEBODY HELP! I saw proofs that there was an alternative ending!
Instead of ending with Nishino, Manaka chose AYA. But i don't know where to download! Please help me find where.

It's not an official ending. Someone did a cut and paste jobs of different scenes in the manga to make it. Really isn't worth it as there is no new material.

Nishino is her last name.

I see that everyone's talking about Tsukasa and Aya but what about Satsuki and Kozue, because even though they weren't taken seriously in the story they still loved him and they still got hurt badly.

Even though it's a harem their reasons for liking him were pretty believable and I just felt sorry for Satsuki who kept on throwing herself at Manaka and constantly getting rejected. Heck... if I was in that posistion I wouldn't have any problems making Satsuki's wish come true 😀 . As for Kozue, Manaka never fully undertsood that she liked him, even after she sort of confessed but I would like to know if she ended up getting together with scarface (I dunno his name)?
