big deal...
PS: Is not water per se... is Ice
Hydrogen is well, EXTREMELY common...
Besides, the problem is space radiation... with is the only reason, I don't buy the moon landing... (like hell aluminum could keep all the gamma and X-rays out of the ship and the astronauts... not to mention the suits in space walks...
Here Earth magnetic field protects astronauts, and you expect me to believe that a little 3 cms alloy cover could keep all the harmful radiation out?
Wow.
I see you just like to disagree.
If you agree with everything that happens, life becomes very boring.
and is not like I didn't suspect this... hydrogen is very common, so to find carbon based fuel, water, etc is not That big of a discovery... they are just blowing this out of proportion.
Besides we know the moon has a LOT of craters, and some of them had to be Ice based comets (again completely expected)
Again, I dare anyone to explain how come the astronauts didn't develop cancer and died a few years (months) after their "moon walk" when we know even with the strong magnetic field of earth, we are not completely safe in here...
The magnetic field of earth is like a force field that protects every living thing in it, if we where to leave it and rely on a barrier of a few cms of alloy then we would develop cancer for sure.
But enough of that...
Is a good discovery, but don't yell TERRAFORM, because terraform is not as easy as you make it sound (even here on earth)

Actually Hydroxyl bonds per se, and the whole surface "is hydrated during at least some portion of lunar day" are the news
True that the puny non-dipolar magnetic field of the moon is always an obstacle.
And that article is about the prospect of potential mineral sources, you don't have to live in the moon or believe in it 🤣
Don't get me wrong, I believe in it (I suspected the moon had "hydrogen" all along), but I don't see the "potential" mineral sources, that is just a lie to the media, or you expect me to believe we are going to Terraform the moon?, we lack the technology, first we should fix our planet (that we are breaking) before even think about going somewhere else.

The levels of radiation that you would be exposed to in that situation wouldn't be likely to cause cancer for the limited amount of time that they were there. It takes a lot more than the stray bit of space radiation to do that. Don't forget, even with our atmosphere we still get a fair amount of radiation on the surface, and people still get cancer down here as well, the only difference is the duration of exposure.

I know that, but something is wrong... the political situation of the moon landing... the technology at that time... everything seems, wrong... but like I said I don't give a damn about that, I choose to not buy it... not to say it didn't happen.

even if there is water...we won't be able to live on the moon...it's all about the atmosphere.
