This. There are very few H-anime that have good animation AND good drawings. And I'm too lazy to search for those very few, so I stay with H-Manga.
As for real porn, it's not like you can touch them anyway. And sometimes when they do closeups, it can look real fucking disgusting.
But for me, I go from one to the other depending on what mood I'm in.

Both are fantasy so I don't see any difference with reading/watching either.
Now, I don't watch H-anime. Never really could get into it... but also partially because a lot of them are horribly done. Though I can say the same about porn as well. Damn bastards always tricking you with their sexy ass covers... >:-( Makes me wonder why I even bothered in the first place. I make better porn myself.

Lol I know, you always end up disappointed when you watch the actual vid. I do agree partly w/ the anime, a lot of it is simple animation loops... although once in a while you find something good. I'm not the biggest fan of American porn though... the majority of it is too fake sounding for me, but yeah, It'd be nice when the girl looks the same on the screen as she does on the cover.

For me, it's a matter of fetish representation and the quality of poise. I can find both in all of these media with some effort, but my imagination is quite crucial in deciding my maximum enjoyment. Stationary images require more from my imagination than the animated ones.

Men and Women. H-anime more action than Live-action Porno.
Gays become Yaoi, Lesbians become Yuri. The rest have different scenes that you don't find on the live-action when Japanese porno is censored and R-Rated movies is missing some great scenes. H-Manga on the other hand is more complex than the Graphic Novel American Comic that is missing some naked and intercourse where I will not find at your local Adult Book store so I Blame the Comicbook Stores that do not carry XXX Mangas at all. And Live Action Porno I hate spitting. I usually Like Porno that is considered all ages not just all about adults so I hate Adult Pornography except Animated Porno and Hentai. There is nothing that I like about live action porno because of NC-17 or a movie that never include children.

I don't feel attracted to the women in real porn at all. Some "actresses" are actually gorgeous but no matter how good they look, they are nothing but whores without shame. I really dislike the whole sextrade. Hentai manga and anime, on the other hand, are fantasies given form in a more or less artistically tasteful way.
