Shoujo is more of a fantasy then reality, so maybe in shoujo men are fairer (to some extent) but in reality women are the 'fairest of them all'... lol

It really depends where you're from.
I've had friends who've visited Japan, and they've said "The men are really fragile and intimidated easily." whereas the girls had more confidence.
If that's true, I wish I'd grown up there.

As for how true it is, I don't know. But they certainly do seem more "fragile" than the men I've met.

I have to agree with this.

Also, people can say what they will about men, as long as you realize that women are just as bad.

Every woman I know are caring and nice. And ever my most sensitive man friend can't be as caring and nice as a woman. This may due to the fact that I am very very careful as making friends. Unless you know me for more than a year, I won't give you my real email, lol, and definitely not inviting you to my house.

Shoujo manga are hardly an accurate depiction of reality.

Scientific research has shown that women are better at understanding other's feelings than men, and are more caring and compassionate. Women are better able to identify a person's emotions when shown a a face on an ambiguous background.

Yes, but that still doesn't change the fact that the women you know don't represent EVERY woman. And every man you know don't represent every man. What you said can only be true if you know know every single man and woman in this world ... Assuming the nature of a population by testing only a small sample is a very inaccurate, this should be common sense.

Yes, but this is my opinion lol. If we all post about generalized world, it be a very boring and bland thread. We all probably have the same reply: "It depends"

So really, when we ask these generalization questions, we are asking for personal opinions hoping it would supplement what we don't know.

But I have to say, thought I like my best friend to be a woman, i like the people around me to be guys. Guys are less complicated, more emotional in a sense, easier to manipulate [not in a bad sense] and of course of so egotistical that it's kind of cute, kind of like a little immature kid. 😔 🤣

From experience, they're pretty equal. That, or they balance each other out; some women have qualities that some men need and don't have, and some men have qualities that some women need and don't have.
