Imformative chapter, but a bit flat. The beginning and the end was cool, but the whole explaining the sea currents was way longer then neccessary. Luckily the humor made it less boring.

Great chapter as always. I honestly didn't expect the sea cow to show up again.

Not much to say, but to wait two weeks just after its return, that's not cool. But then again, the wait is always worth it.

Yup yup, I'm starting to think that caribou guy is just here for local knowledge purposes and end up being scarred for life by the straw hats. He has a very good chance of never pirating again and becoming a priest after this encounter...or not, it's One Piece after all... 😛

Geez people, another great thing about one piece that many people usually oversee is that the world in which Oda create is greatly imaginative and "romantic" (in the sense of Romance dawn). Humor, and characters aside. I really like Oda's worlds and how much thought he put into them like Skypiea and now this fishman island arc. It feels like reading one of those classic epic adventure stories like Twenty thousand leagues under the Sea. Though like always the chapter is too short sigh....

I can't never be satisfy with weekly One Piece chapters.

Just because no one commented on it doesn't mean that it's being overlooked. It's pretty much impossible to overlook the world that Oda creates seeing how all the settings are so varied...

But man, I wonder how they're not gonna get killed by that kraken. Luffy might use his emperor haki to make it terrified of him (Which would also have some of the other Straw Hats wonder what the hell happened). Or Oda could have the kraken kill the Straw Hats and the next page afterwards could just have the text "THE END (lol I troll you)".

I'm guessing Luffy mastered all 3 kinds of haki?
Equipped Haki which he used against the pacifista
Observation Haki (reading moves) which he used against the pacifista as well
King's Haki which he gonna used to tamed that little guy LOL

Raleigh stated that you can only be better in 1 type of haki

strange, why nobody have a say about how caribou left alone at his opponent boat? for me that's the funniest scene in this chapter.

what i like about oda is not only can he make hilarious and ridiculous scenes, but he mixes them up with touching emotional scenes too. Zoro and kuma, whitebeard vs scenes like this where caribous the only one stuck on the boat. What i wanna know is what will luffy do with the kraken after its tamed?

Oh yea, does anyone kinda have the sense that luffy can kinda speak to animals? he was like hey everyone these guys are friends and everyone listened to him? you know what i mean? so that means chopper doesnt need to translate anymore

Poor Caribou-- he deserved it though. I hope they feed him to the Kraken 🤣

I liked the chapter, even though on both of the pages I was able to guess what would appear next ("That looks just like an underwater.... Waterfall!" and "That looks like it is a...Kraken!")

I love how thought out Oda's world is. I actually enjoyed reading the explanation.
