He is most likely going to use Haki to conquer it or something.

More specifically, Haōshoku Haki (覇王色, Color of the Conquering King)

It's a pretty slow chapter but fun nonethless.
I think a slow pacing towards a bigger event is nice.
Just like how it was before the SH reached Sabaody. At that time, I wouldn't have imagined that there will be a long arc that would lead to the crews' separation and ultimately the death of Ace and Whitebeard.

It would be nice to see the Kraken becomes the Straw Hat's 'new pet'. 😀

OP is taking a break for a week, huh? Oda-sensei would definitely give a great chapter, as usual. More action! A great start with the captain kicking ass (or taming ass, I mean LOL)!

@Aeylis: True, true! Yes, OP is full of ideas which just naturally fit together. I was thinking that maybe Oda-sensei actually has a script running and modifies it now and then, so the manga just follows what he has written. Or maybe it's just a unique talent of his, weaving stories and making them so good. Not just good, amazingly brilliant!
