It s still funny of you to point out the fact they're overrated and in the meantime acknowlege they're the greatest band ever.... 😀 I mean is there something really above greatest band ever ? in my opinion they're just slightly overrated . You know it's not even about music : regarding the music of the band I even like to consider that Queen is better as long as we're talking about mainstream rock band music.

But there's so much more about the Beatles than their music .... While with Queen you've just Highlander and this amazing showman of Freddy Mercury with the beetles you've the beetle generation , the flower power , the psychedelic rock ,the pop rock , a relation between 2 songmakers whose intensity has rarely if ever been matched , their outrageous style of life and statement (including the infamous one about the christ) and even their life after the beetles ... I mean what other group can brag that all his member reached the top of the chars in their solo career at least once ? even it they obviously didn't reach the insane level of popularity they used to have Lennon and Maccartney were still huge stars , Harrison and Starr have both scored a couple of hits (the album "all thing must pass" for the earlier and Ringo for the latter) and were stars for a time to a less extent.

Linkin Park are so full of themselves and their perceived importance. I heard a cover version they did of NiN's Wish and they turn it into a Linkin Park song. I had to turn it off after about a minute.
Queen from after Flash Gordon were increasingly rubbish.
Metallica after Cliff Burton died are crap.

No one mentioned Tokio Brothel...errr...Tokio Hotel? 🙂 . I wish they had an A and an F in their name so I could make out the word FAIL.

some bands like seether ,creed etc yes their vocalists are overrated , but their guitar playing is still damn good.

i will agree with the thing bout the the dime a dozen pop bands . sure they crank outta good song or two but they never maintain the standards for long.

Nickelback's songs are all the same just different lyrics.

Yes to Kiss and Aerosmith. Kiss sucks hard. Like really hard. Super hard.
Aerosmith has several good songs, but the fact that Run DMC resurrected their career means that they are overrated.

Add DEVO to that list. In fact most groups from the 80's.

Add Nirvana as well.

Definitley agree with Fallout Boy, Simple Plan, Green Day, Good Charlotte

Although I must admit I do like a few songs from them. But I can count them on one hand so, yeah.

I like Nickleback though, I like how half their songs are vulgar but the other half are more meaningful. But I can see where some ppl say they are overrated.

Linkin Park was awesome when they first came out, but their music became crap after the first cd.

Panic at the Disco and My Chemical Romance, I just don't hear enough about them now an' days so I cant comment.
