well punch out only had one prequel which was on the nes and he cartridges didnt really have the space for voices while zelda has a precedent on keeping link mute and using wierd noises as the voices of the characters. but it all stems down to will links voice sound like dreamy manly voice we imagine him to have or will it flop

Although I see what you mean, it's very hard to judge something or say that it sucked when it hasn't even come out yet. Hopefully they give him a suitable voice...

I actually have always thought that it was silly not to have voice acting. If people talk there should be voices.

Link *never *talks during the games, unless I seriously missed something. I would miss our silent man of action.
I prefer games without voice acting personally, but so long as the voices and dialogue are well done, I don't mind it in particular.
