I plan on ordering a video card for this game sometime this week. Check that out for me if you know anything about video cards. My other computer specs are here.

Anyone playing this game or going to? I played Counter-Strike for a few years religiously and I'm looking to this as my replacement.

Just got off after playing for about 3 hours. This game rocks!

Playing Spy is too addictive. Getting behind enemy lines to stab 8 enemies in the back... Too fun!!!

May I ask how big the battles can become? I really like huge matches like Counter-Strike's 16v16 battles.

I'm praying I don't get dizzy like I did recently with Metroid Prime and Halo on the consoles.

I would get if it there was still the black box planned for released. HL2:E2, Portal, and TF2 looks awesome. But valve and steam have to make us (people who already own HL2 and HL2:E1) buy games that we already have with the Orange Box.

I would recommend for people who have not played HL2 and HL2:E1 to pick up the orange box but I am pretty sure steam and valve will bite us in the ass again when they release HL2:E3.

I really hope valve and steam dont hit us with a package we dont want when they release HL2:E3.

The matches are pretty big as far as I have seen. No 16 vs 16, but there is 12 vs 12 which is more than enough I think.

They made it really well. I doubt you will get dizzy. All the characters stand out from the background (in a good way) which makes it easier to find enemies and comrades.

i thought about it that way for a while too, but after really looking at the individual pricing, it just makes so much more sense to buy the whole set and give HL2 and ep1 to a friend. portal and ep2 alone cost more than the whole shebang and thats not even counting TF2 which is a must. very good multi-player game (and nothing beats engineers). but this is just my view on things. anyway, yea TF2 is a good game and i think the battles actually get to be as high as 16 vs 16. it just all depends on the server you're playing on. i'm kinda bummed out about my laptop not being able to play the game at a good frame rate though. so make sure you find and get a good graphics card.

I have been having the hardest time deciding on a video card but I finally chose one. A Radeon X1950PRO card. Hopefully I picked the right one because there's so fucking many of them. I'll be ordering it tomorrow after a few more checks.

I just ordered Orange Box so I'll have the game ahead of time.

TF2 is fun too, I haven't really tried the HLs yet, but from the little time i spent of Ep1, its not quite as good. Haven't given it a good try yet though.

I have my video card but I'm waiting for a friend to hopefully plug in the massive video card that is the Sapphire Radeon X1950PRO. I'm praying it'll fit.
