still in high school

I would LOVE to go out of state. Really. :[
If I was granted a full scholarship to somewhere like Duke...I would be a very happy person. (But then again, I'll be all alone. xD)

  1. not saying which highschool currently attend

I'd like to go to a college/ uni far enough away from my mom XD Maybe like 1-2 hours for now-- later more.

  1. It's ok~ Not the best, but not the worst.

  2. A dramatic place XD Very dramatic.

I really want to get out of Highschool and into Uni~

at least youd start off alone
but in college, its a different world, at least for me it was.
im enrolled with a few great friends from high school and i thought it would be cool that we can be together in the same school.
but eversince we started i barely see them, i met so many other people.
its fun and gives an ocean of oppurtunity to network.

  1. TUDelft or Technical University Delft in, well, Delft. One of the best science oriented Universities in Europe.

I was in Delft the during the new students event and was in awe at the sea of boys in bright t-shirts. There seemed to be maybe 10 girls. Is the gender ratio really that bad?

  1. The only school that offers degrees in engineering in the CUNY (City University of New York) system
  2. It's cheap, so it's not a total waste. I just want out at this point. I used to do lots of recruitment for the school, so I'll assume I was psyched about it at some point.
  3. Public college, so it's a commuter school with an older crowd. Many of my classmates have real jobs, quite a few already have a degree or two, and many have spouses and children. It's an interesting environment, but probably different then the one most people think about for college. It makes scheduling group projects quite a task.

#1. KSU

#2. Meh.

#3. I'm one of those people who didn't really care for the whole "rooming with strangers for a college experience" sort of thing. I got a single room my freshman year, and moved out to an off campus apartment my sophomore year. So I can't really comment on that, but definitely full of immature kids. It definitely has a lot of commuters. I chose it because it was cheap, as I had to, and is still completely paying for my own college education. And they offered me a pretty decent scholarship.

I wish I went to an art school.
