Your typing habits.

I use all my fingers but my pinkies. I use my ring finger instead of them (like for the 'p' key and stuff.) I dunno why. Thats just how I taught myself how to type.
I can type without looking at my keyboard really easily, unless its for the special sign things that are attached to the numbers.

I don't type the correct way, I think I use only two fingers on each hand, I'm not certain though, I have been using my PSP or PS3 to type lately, since my laptop broke.

When I type, I have a weird habit of my pinky finger spazzing out, it feels really weird ¬.¬ But apart from that I touch type like most normal people do, which is why I can only type on my own keyboard because if I change keyboards my ability to touch type diminishes ¬.¬ It takes me at least an hour of typing on my netbook to be able to get use to the small keys.

I use my left hand without pinky
and I use right hand's index finger
and middle finger.
I guess you could call mine 'correct hand placement'.
I can touch type, but I prefer to do a mixture of looking down and up. I do it really fast though, like a quick glance, before going back up to look at the screen.
I know where all the letter are on the keyboard pretty much, and my fingers are so used to hitting backspace, I don't need to think about it much when I mis-spell something, or make a typing error, because the right hand just hits backspace automatically 🤣
I'm not extremely fast though. I recon I'm at an average speed.
I've never really thought about what fingers I use. By the looks of things now as I observe my hands typing, I seem to use, the top 3 fingers on my left hand (index, middle and ring), and my 2 on my right (index and ring) The ring finger does most of the backspace hitting XD
How odd, I totally miss out my middle finger on the right hand 🤣
I can type blindly, so I use all my fingers.

I use both of my hands, but it's probably not the right hand placement, since I don't think I actually use all of my fingers.
I'm a self taught blind typer of sorts?
GAH, why do you keep asking such questions?
I never pay attention... ._.
For the poll- other it is.

Most of the time I use one hand, because I write short messages. (Like now)
But If I'm moved to write long ones, I'll use two so that it goes faster.

I don't use any proper systems or whatever, actually I use every finger at some point except my right hand's thumb. No actually I may sometimes use it for space, but usually I don't use it.
I'll hug your problems away.

No correct finger placements on my part.
I type blindly, but it works.
I can type properly if I really had to, though I won't be as comfortable. : P

I use the completely wrong finger placement and all the fingers on my hands and every once and a while they cross over each other. I have no idea how the hell this is supposed to work but I don't have that many typos and I almost always know when I do.

Like I mentioned in the shift thread, my left hand isn't anchored entirely to the home keys. (Though my right hand is.)
It pissed my teacher off that I had the highest WPM yet didn't use the correct hand placement.

I have one of those ergonomic (?) keyboards that force me to use correct hand placement (the one with a big space between the left-hand and right-hand keys). But if I'm on a computer with a flat keyboard, I just use the "which ever finger gets there fastest" method. I have to look at my keyboard while typing, I can't read typos onscreen (if I'm on MsW, I usually miss a letter and make 'your' --> 'you' or something like that, the spell-checker doesn't correct it) but I can see when my fingers screw up.

I usually just do whatever and I usually use all of my fingers. I'll sometimes find myself using the correct finger placement...even though I sometimes cheated in my keyboarding class. >_>'' I'll sometimes use one hand if I'm eating something too... xD
