The first manga I've been trying to find for like two years but I can't remember much about it other than I think it was probably more than 20 chapters? Also the protagonist was unique because she was a plain, honest girl whose ideal type was a plain guy who would grow up to be a normal, responsible salary man, and she and the normal guy she liked in her class(?) were in middle school.. The epilogue had them as a couple in high school made gorgeous by puberty, and they each get jealous about the people staring at the other. Did I imagine this??

The other one was a short one with the plain friend protagonist who was shy(?), and she screens potential boyfriends for her popular friend. She decides one guy is good enough, but to her surprise the guy wasn't interested in her friend but her!

Does anyone know either of these? It bothers me that I can't remember any googleable details... 😕

The second one sounds like the first chapter in Hikitateyaku no Koi

That's it for that one, thank you! 🙂 Not remembering was frustrating

The first one kind of sounds like Kedamono Kareshi. Hope so-- sorry if not!
