I was an avid Zero/Yuuki fan until recent developments, and now I think Zero is just too good for this dfjslfjd plot.
Maybe Yuuki and Kaname will die in some freak accident and the main characters will end up being Aidou and Zero, who will start a rebellion and I don't even know what. Well that's in my version of the series.
Sorry I'm just annoyed.

Personally, I wanted to keep Zero to myself though I did ship him together with Yuuki. But Yuuki does become really annoying and Kaname seems way too emo for me these days.

CHAPTER 68
The chapter could have been more informative if the mangaka shorten Yuuki's lengthy confrontration with Kaien into a 2-3 pages and get straight to the point where she and Aidou got sent into the Hunter organisation HQ. The extra pages could be used for explaining Kaname's motives in all this. What a waste of chapter. 😔

Dumping Yuuki from the plot and turning this into an action shounen would actually be sort of fun. Doesn't feel like there's much hope for her as a character anymore. Zero is, sadly, the only one among the three main characters whose motivations are clear, and who behaves with some amount of psychological realism.
I have no clue WTF Yuuki is thinking anymore and Kaname's mysteriousness got old about 10 volumes ago. Just when it seems we might finally understand what he actually wants, the mangaka does something to make him clear as mud again. WHY hide his motivations for committing murder? What is the point to it? So we can delude ourselves that there might be a "good" reason for it? Please. Don't insult our intelligence like that. There is never, ever a good reason to commit murder (apart from self-defense) and we all know it.

I agree. Like I said, Kaname's motives really, really needed to be explained here. Not to mention, Yuuki's emoness was lame since I really couldn't feel sorry for her. She threw her lot in with Kaname and listened to everything he said rather than taking a good, hard look at what was going on around her. It was to be expected that it would blow up in her face. (You really can't go around letting someone else tell you how to live your life.) Plus, seeing her so heartbroken over Kaname's leaving grates on me since someone just died; I'd rather not see her playing the "poor me" card right now. It's poor Aidou, not poor Yuuki. He lost his father; she only got dumped. And dumped by a guy who she had a rocky relationship to begin with. I feel like I say this every month, but hopefully next chapter will be better and finally give us some of the answers we've been looking for.
