We finally have our poll up (at least the first one...)! As the title of this news post says, we are going to get a mascot for our site in preparation for the next version of your beloved MangaUpdates! Remember, this mascot determines our future as a site!

Bah, why go through the trouble? MU is better of without a mascot. Some people is going to like the mascot, others will not.
If MU have no mascot then everyone will be happy... -.-

After reading through Part 1 of Round 1 I am shocked and APPAULED at the members of this site. How could they vote for a zombie pikachu over the clearly superior Bumu? Lambchopsil, is there anyway you could just trump the vote and put Bumu in? I promise to donate money once I get a job if you do!

When are you going to officially change the name of the site from Baka-Updates Manga to just MANGAUPDATES, that's what everyone calls it anyway, who cares if it's a sister project.

I can second this. I think this portion of the site is superior to the other part, and thus retaining that name feels a bit odd. 🙂
