Okay, honestly, did anyone here knew about the existence of this manga before the anime was announced. I mean all the releases of this manga came out at the exact same time as when the anime came out. (It's the same for all the other languages too.) Personally, I had no idea this story existed beforehand and then in a matter of weeks the K-On fad exploded and people started drawing doujinshis of it and thousands of people started buying guitars and basses.

I am liking the anime. It's funny and about a band. I don't think it needs significant male characters to be interesting. Why not just enjoy the plot for what it is?

Everyday I'm tumblin'

I'm sad it's only 12 episodes, I read 25 chapters of the manga, and I find it hilarious. When I see it everything happen again in the anime, I still laugh like crazy! It's that funny in my opinion! My personal favorite is Yui, because she is kind of like me in the laziness and well she is HILARIOUS!!! Also, I like both Mio and Yui singing, they're both good at it!

The characters are the only interesting aspect. Tsumugi is surprisingly endearing. I didn't like her that much in the beginning, but she grew on me. 🤣
