I actually... didn't play a lot of game boy advance games! I played a lot of my older gameboy colour ones on it... I never even played the GBA pokemon ones. (I still owned blue and yellow, I didn't need the remakes!)
Golden Sun's got to be top of the list. I remember playing a Spyro game I hated, and a decent but short Sonic the Hedgehog game. My brother had some Megaman one.
...I love my Gameboy games and DS games, though 😀 I think I played a lot of PS2 stuff when the GBA was popular.

I'm really fond of GBA games since they were the cause for some of my most favourite series today. Like:
Fire Emblem series <3
Harvest Moon (back when the games were actually simple 😛 )
Final Fantasy: Tactics series
Wario Ware series
Sims Bustin' Out / Urbz in the City
Kirby series
edit.
just realized my childhood gba memories totally missed out on Grand Theft Auto! >.< I totally forgot it got a version released! Maybe I should pick up my GBA again... 🤣

Golden Sun Series
Metroid Series
Megaman Zero series
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap --> Link of the Past, but I played it on the Super NES so it doesn't really count
Final Fantasy Tactics: Advanced --> Literally Spent several hundreds of hours on this game

Of course: Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.
I'm not sure how, but I came to own all three as a kid.
As this was my first pokexperience, I was in awe. <3
I couldnt pick only one so these are my all time favorite: golden sun 1&2, yugioh gx duel academy, pokemon series and summon knight, these are really great games I remember how they got me all excited 😀

Depend on the game. If it's a turn-based style games like Final Fantasy series, Golden Sun series etc, I prefer the emulator. If it's an action RPG style then I prefer the console. I tried paying Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories and Sword of Mana on an emulator. It's a nightmare...
