Tbh I don't really care. She's an ok character. If she lives she lives, if she dies she dies...I just want to know which of the two it is...or maybe if its something else... O.o

She is dead. She'll never come back! I am pretty sure Naruto will end up with Sakura anyway. That's why the author thought to himself "hmm...Hinata is actually a useless character...I'll just erase her".

as im reading the japflap scans i dont know whats going on in detail, but i liked hinata, way better than most of the other supporting characters. they shoulda killed of saskue or something

I'd finally start to read Naruto again if this happens.

I say that Naruto should go with Hinata and leave Sakura to Sasuke.
Hope sasuke can withstand sakura. But I can see Naruto with Hinata as Hokage. 😎

Yeah Naruto won't remember much from the time before he went to kyubi mode (especially with 6 tails). That's why he will very likely forget about the confession and Hinata won't have the guts to say it again.
Therefore, I agree with the previous posters.

Dead. After the big confession, the bloodied sword, and Naruto going crazy over her death, it would be MONUMENTALLY cheap if they found a way to revive her.

It's true, we've already had a few "mistaken" deaths in this manga, so Hinata's death could also be a mistake, but unlike Sasuke's "death," for instance, there's no logical way to make her be alive. In Sasuke's case, prior to the fight with Haku, they'd established that Haku both didn't like killing and couldn't really kill anyone with his needles. Pein, on the other hand, has no problem with killing and seems to be able to do it quite easily. So why should he have left her alive--particularly when he wants Naruto to suffer?

And also, just because Kishimoto didn't graphically show her being stabbed doesn't mean there's reason to hold out hope that somehow Pein hit her shoulder instead of her heart or whatever. Maybe the readers didn't get to see it happen, but Naruto did, and I would say that his going kyuubi is a pretty good indication that what he saw made him believe she is dead and not just critically injured.

The only reason Kishimoto had Hinata do that was because there really wasnt that many other options for Naruto to draw forth the 6 tails, because honestly what else could Pain have done to piss Naruto off even more?

I doubt that she is dead (I'm hoping pain staged it all via genjutsu or whatever although considering they can only use 1 type of tech a piece that ain't likely) or if she truly is dead then someone will use a tensei tech (tsunade). She's my fav character she can't die in just a few panels as she has yet too show off her new power post time skip. Kakashi on the other hand has so he can just bite the dust.
