anyone know why there hasn't been a release in almost two weeks now?
😕 😢
I don't want this to become a forum where this question keeps being asked. Don't let it happen again. (But then again...you probably will never read this...)

Just because a group missed a release for a week doesn't meant that they dropped the project. Its people, who are scanlating these chapters, and they also have a life. Please be more considerate and don't whine if you have to wait a little more than a week, it doesn't seem like you know how much effort is needed to scanlate mangas. Also, even if the group happen to drop the project, Suzuka is too well known/read that some other group will definately pick it up again. 😉

The raw's been released. Hmmm seems like they are planning on a secret trip! I wonder where they will go. Maybe theyll go to an onsen? That seems to be the trend for going to a trip. Again, I can be wrong but hey, who knows. Hahaha, trying to sneak out into a trip, I just hope they don't get caught, since that would be just lame >.>

Oh no! More Suzuka action...! Hahaha... I can't wait for the release... so I can finally read what you have in spoiler tag. ^_^;;
Right. Scanlating is a difficult job. I think I may learn Japanese over the summer... and if I ever do scanlating jobs, I'll help out with Suzuka project. ^_^!

I lived 10 years in japan and I find this funny
" learn japanese over the summer "
that impossible dude, it would take you YEARS to be at the level high enough to scanlate.
1 summer will only learn you basics

You are right about normal people not being able to learn japanese in less than a few years but some of us aren't normal. I've been studying for less than a month in between exams and studying as well as the many hours wasted online and I've already mastered hiragana and am halfway through katakana. So bleh 😛 . Also I find learning japanese isn't that hard especially the speaking also it helps if you've learnt other languages before and I have. Only thing that annoys me is the politeness levels and how cautious you have to be when adressing someone. It's tiring to have to think twice before everything lest you make a rude mistake. Just my narcissitic 2 cents 😛

Oh... ^^;; hehe, I guess not, then. I suppose I will try to learn some Japanese and help out with cleaning Suzuka scans and such... but actually have someone who knows Japanese to translate. ^^;; Haha... you seem to be really interested in Suzuka, plus you seem to be really fluent in Japanese (having lived in Japan for 10 years. ^^) if ever the scanlating groups stop... would you be interested in making a new scanlating group for Suzuka?
One of the reasons I thought it wouldn't be too hard is because I can read quite a bit of Chinese (simplified)... and so, I think that Kanji wouldn't be too hard to pick up.
But if it comes to the Japanese culture, I wouldn't know too well what some of the language would be refering to, so I would be totally weak there.

I'm not normal? haeee??
Hiragana... thats just the alphabet. Katakana is the same but different characters. Its like learning ABC's capital letters and smaller letters. Kanji is what's going to be slowing you down ( I hate kanji God! )
Sentence structure, and yes the [formal] and [non formal] ways of talking, but thats easy if you learn the formal talk first. But I think the next step after that is learning the meaning of each word ( anime could help you a bit in this area ) but even if you do study hours and hours it will take you years.
And for the studying online thing, I don't think any sites will be much of help to you in learning Japanese. You should acutally go to classes for it to learn the language properly, some people study by themselves and they tend to learn wrong, use the language wrong because they do not know the right and wrong.
[Not a flame] Just adding a few things that could help you ( I'm pretty sure you aint gonna listen anyway lol )

I think a good website for learning japanese is actually japanesepod101.com. They really break down the whole convrsational portion of the language but i don't really like how they teach how to write. Yeah I'm really stuck on the whole kanji thing. I only know like 20 or so but Lord willing in a few years be able to talk and write in japanese.
And just as an aside Krnfate are you japanese?

I wouldn't mind "scanlating" suzuka, I get the raw pretty early and I'm pretty sure I can translate it in a few hours.
But I don't know how lol, the groups that scanlate the manga somehow erases all the text inside the text boxes cleanly and neatly but I don't know how to do that lol.
If I did it, it would be very sloppy and probably ruin the art with my huge messed up text bubbles kek.
Anyways that double07 guy, he seems to be doing a very good job by himself and he releases pretty quick. If he doesn't translate the new chapters for a while I'll do it, but you're gonna have to tell me how to do a few things.

Not if you just want the podcasts. If you want the indept not so good explainations of the podcasts in pdf form usually then you pay for that, but if you take notes on what they are saying then the pdf's are totemo kudaranai.
