Slashiest TV Series of Recent Years

I've already watched all the "slash classics," like Star Trek TOS, Due South, Jeeves & Wooster, Sherlock Holmes, etc.
And also the more recent shows like Smallville or Supernatural... I mean, they're really, REALLY gay! (Not canonically, but subtextually. Hot DAMN. Anyone who tells me Lex Luthor wasn't gay for Clark Kent - or that Sam and Dean aren't erotically codependent - seriously hasn't watched the shows.)
So what are some of your favorite slashy series of recent years? And the slashiest of this year?
I vote White Collar for 2010. Just... incredibly, CRAZILY subtexty.

Torchwood; ALL the main characters have made out with someone of the same sex and 4 out of 5 have had sex with someone of the same sex. (The main characters include 3 men and two girls)

Glee.Canon gay and Subtext.
Kurt is a 100% gay out and proud boy who crushes on a guy who is actually a good friend(Lots of beautifull moments) and teaches the entire football team to dance Beyonces "All the single ladies".

It's also got two girls in a canon relationship.=)

And tons of subtext between the other straight characters as well.
Dr. Who should always be mentioned as it is famous for having gay subtext since before colour television was invented. The doctor and The master has EPIC subtext. Not too mention that Torchwood is just a part of Doctor Who. The main character first appaers in Doctor who and falls in love with the Doctor.

Skins - Had tons of Subtexs between lots of characters + canon gay. First genereation AND second. Both lesbian and gay.

Merlin is like the epitome of gay subtext. I mean there is NO actual canon gay in this but the subtext beats anything I've ever seen.(Yes, that includes Smallville and Supernaturnal!)
I mean "All I do is for him and he just thinks I'm an idiot.. " Not too mention there is a big dragon that ships them. The dragon is all like "You are two sides of the same coin/you are meant to stay by his side forever". Even Merlins mom ships them. "You should give him more credit than that. he likes you."

Then there is of course things like **Queer as folk **and **The L word **wich is about the gay community, but I'm not sure that's what you meant. Anyway; if you meant them aswell they are obviously the most gay. I mean ALL the characters are gay in these series.

...Man, is it just me or did TV just get better? Thanks for all the recommendations! I may actually have to start watching some of this stuff.

I was going to say Dean and Sam, there is no doubt in my mind something is going on with them >_>
Love them tho <3
Also if anyone remembers Prison Break I was rooting for Michael Schofield and Sucre. 🤣
Love ~
Oh, and I gotta add Steve and Tango on Ghost Hunters... A girl can dream...

OH MY GOSH VILDE0806! You are officially my HERO for providing not only eyecandy, but for recommending new viewing material! ______ I know what DVD sets I'm buying next. <3
The only one I saw from your recs is Merlin, and I totally agree, that thar is majorly gay gayness. 😀 I especially love the "Slash Dragon" and his prophecies of Eternal Gay Love, lol.
Serith, yeah, TV is totally getting better. And gayer. And better.
plumcrazy926, have you seen this awesome fanvid of Prison Break? Absolutely, utterly beautiful. And heartbreaking. And gay. It's Michael/Mahone...

I loled so much. Reminds me of that Ghostfacers scene in Supernatural. "Ed, you’ve got to go be gay for that poor dead Intern. You've got to send him into the light."

The Office and its hospital counterpart Scrubs deserve an award for this.
My very favorite, though, is totally Heroes. Yeah, everything other than the first season utterly and totally sucked, and I gave up watching a few episodes into the second, but Heroes was the first show I ever slashed. And you never forget your first.
The possible combinations are nearly infinite, but the one that really got me was Mohinder/Sylar, or Mylar for those in the know. Because when characters get kinky with each other with chai tea and tuning forks, you know they're canon.

I second Merlin. It makes me smirk sometimes 🤣
I've only seen the first 2 seasons of Skins, and I would also agree with Vilde0806.
Something not mentioned... hmm, you can try Robin Hood. Although, it's not really that recent.

@akari_mizunashi: YES, MYLAR!
Words cannot express how heartbroken I was when the quality of writing in Heroes went down the proverbial rabbit hole in the 2nd season... I remember watching the first with a kind of compulsive starvation, literally watching the whole season in like, 2 days. Back-to-back episodes for hours on end, across a single weekend! (And then I re-watched them, of course, several times.)
Not to mention Nathan/Peter, which... Yeah, Petrellicest is sweet and lurvely. <3
I'll try Robin Hood, thanks, MasamiAkane!
AND HAS ANYONE SEEN THE NEW BBC SERIES, SHERLOCK? SO. GAY.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joatp7NyGrA
It charts the Holmes/Watson friendship from the very start (albeit in modern surrounds), and one can already spot the beginnings of the epic love they end up feeling for each other. Plus, the advantage of modern surrounds? THEY CAN TALK ABOUT SEXUALITY. OPENLY. It's even canonically hinted that Holmes is gay (or, at least, not into women), because of this scene:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvu9sgOW8mA (fast-forward to 0:54)
The transcript of that full scene?
Quote from Sherlock BBC
JW: "You don't have a girlfriend, then?"
SH: "Girlfriend? No. Not really my area."
JW: "Oh, right. Do you have a boyfriend? Which is fine, by the way."
SH: "I know it's fine."
(silence)
JW: "So you've got a boyfriend?"
SH: "No."
JW: "Right, okay. You're not attached. Just like me. Fine. Good."
SH: "John, er, I think you should know that I consider myself married to my work, and while I'm flattered by your interest, I'm really not ready for anything."
JW: "No... I'm not asking... no. I'm just saying it's all fine."
SH: "Good. Thank you."
HEE. <3
Of course, we all know that Sherlock does end up loving Watson, after prolonged exposure to his adorkability!

White Colar? Really?
Maybe I don't like it enough to assume anything.
Watched everything on Vilde0806's list except for Merlin.
But I don't doubt it. First time I heard of the series I thought it centered around our beloved subject. 🤣
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

I hadn't heard of the Sherlock Holmes series. It looks really cool. ;P
I really think you might like these series. Especially Torchwood since it is so very similar to Supernatural. They are both horror shows with humans fighting supernatural/alien beings. Torchwood is a little more "dramatic" and "over the top"but they can both be bloody and creepy.
Also; Queer as folk is a must for slash fans;
Young naive gay boy still in high school has a one night stand and falls in love with a hot older man who also happens to be a big player. High school student tries to get older man to fall in love with him while older man denies it, but keeps seeing him anyway. It's like a Yaoi manga.. XD
(Also; are we sharing slashy fanvids? =D If so I have some for you; (I'm totally trying to get more people into watching these shows.. XD)

Yeay for Sherlock and Watson, whether it's the series or the book, they are made for each other. And also Scrubs, Carla had to fight for the love of her husband with JD. 'Guy love between two guys' that song was epic 🙂
But my favorite has to be Supernatural Hahaha
They even shared the same heaven wich was only meant for soulemates.

I don't watch a lot of drama series, even those with slash. Sometimes I just happen to come across them. Subtext stuff is good.
I have to say I'm a fan of Glee.
Oh, YES! I've been watching BBC's Sherlock! But the weird thing is that I watch it with my dad (my grandma even recommended it) ... Anyway-- those who have been watching it, have you seen the last episode yet?
I have to say the cliffhanger reminded me a lot of Code Geass's major cliffhanger (but without a gunshot at the end).
But I swear I giggled so much when John said, "You ripping my clothes off in a darkened swimming pool. People might talk." I couldn't help but yell 'what!'
Also, when Mycroft emphasized on calling them 'pals', and his cheeky response when John said he has never been bored since living with Sherlock.

I really think Sophie and Libby's relationship in Carnivale should've been played out more. It was like, something good was going to happened between them, and then Sophie just had to fuck it up because she was jealous.
