YES, that scene by the swimming pool! Even before that highly suspect "people might talk" bit of dialogue that made me go "o___O; ... <3 <3 <3!" there was the whole thing about John leaping onto Moriarty AND RISKING HIS OWN LIFE to save Sherlock's... And Sherlock kind of freaking out in a very un-Sherlockian way by the fact that John was in danger, despite the fact that just earlier on in the episode, he'd responded with indifference to other people's deaths ("People die, that's what they DO!"). Just. That was so reminiscent of the scene in book-canon in The Three Garridebs, don't you think? In which Sherlock panics because John's in danger. And this is Sherlock we're talking about here, he of the I-don't-know-what-panic-or-concern-for-other-human-beings-feels-like-because-I'm-a-high-functioning-sociopath-do-your-research persuasion. <3

They FLIRT so much, don't they! Yes, I noticed Mycroft placing emphasis on the "pals" bit and Sherlock's oddly alert reaction to that (catching onto the hint, but not denying it? EEEEE!). I also loved their little tiff at the start, and Mrs. Hudson's reaction: "Having a domestic?" A DOMESTIC! Like spouses! Eeeeeeeee. :D :D :D

The whole show is just a giant shippy manifesto. I love it to death. AND I AM REJOICING ENDLESSLY THAT THERE WILL BE A SECOND SEASON. GIMMEH MAH SLASH, BAKER STREET. :D

Loved the gay moriarty, but I also find him annoying, for a second I thought Watson was moriary WTF!!??

It's not slashy... it's total canon... but Downton Abbey has a footman who's anchors... I was uber surprised to see this in a period drama!!!!! My jaw totally dropped in episode 1... and then it dropped again in episode 2. 😲
