How do you read your manga when it's not from the Internet?

Bookstores are so convenient! The big ones (like Barnes and Nobles, at least here in New York) have their own cafes and reading sections to allow people to read manga (and of course, anything else). I'm awed at how much business Barnes and Nobles get considering how many people come and only read here. The B&N stores are a lot like oversized casual libraries-- and they're easy to find almost anywhere in the city. That said, you can imagine how the manga sections might be overcrowded-- sometimes there are way too many people that they become an obstruction to actual customers.
And then there's always manga available from friends at school. Yay for manga/anime/drawing clubs, I guess? Go Stuy!

(1) Someone who sits in manga section of big bookstores and turns new books into used ones.
(2) Someone who angers me (especially if there is collateral damage)

Until now i have never stumble upon a library with a series of mangas that are not random volumes...It could be because people always order it before me but i never.. as in "never" see a complete series stack in one place.

My parents read tons of mangas when they were my age by renting them like movies. sigh it's so much better with a book than on the computers. Easier on the eyes.

"In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face is that, in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is more meaningful than our criticism designating it so."

I print every page off my computer so I can read it in the park.
Just kidding, I love buying it from bookstores but its so expensive here >_<, so my collection isn't very big.

The Borders near me barely has any =(
Don't you hate it when you go to a book store and the one volume in a series you want isn't on the shelf xD
