when I was in my country (SEA), I used to buy many mangas, it's cheap and has many titles. But now here in europe it cost like 5€, hell I could get 2 meals for that price.

well when I cant find it on the internet but im really too busy to go to the bookstore and read for hours on end I just check it out at the library to read later. If I do have time I go to B&N and find a nice chair or quiet corner, but a coffee and im good for a few hours 😃

I buy my manga, then I swap around with all my friends. If we've got plenty of time in the city, we'll hang around Kinokuniya and read some manga there.

People would sit on the floor, or sit/lean on the bench-like counter. This would all be happening right in front of the aisle that happened to contain a majority of the manga = bad maneuverability. We tried to move to another spot, but we got told off for bringing books to other sections of the store. Eventually Kinokuniya put up a bunch of signs saying "do not sit" on the floor and shelfy-counter, so right now we all have to stand in front of the shelf and read there.

I don't buy English releases, I buy Japanese comics because they're only about $5, because I like to support the companies after I read them online.

if all manga were licensed, i'd never use the internet to read, but sadly, only a small amount is licensed, and the good stuff are rare, but the licenses have started growing more lately, so it's not hopeless, i have a collection, a manga collection and i'm trying to make it bigger but i only want the best stuff!

How much do you spend on your collection?

Luckily, I have alot of sources of manga even away from the internet. XD

Since I live in a busy city, lots of shops are everywhere. Our local library has a whole section dedicated to manga. Another bookstore ONLY for manga (in chinese though) is also open one block away from the library. And then more other English bookstores for more manga XD

I buy the copies of manga I truly think they're worth it =D But seriously, how expensive can they get?! Shounen jump mangas are $7.99 each + others are around $9.99. 😔
