Who among these people would you like to achieve bankai before Bleach ends
Well, it has been stated that every single captain ever has acquired Bankai the sole exception being Zaraki. This would imply Yoruichi as she was a captain, and thusly mean she has a zanpakuto somewhere.

I voted Rukia, and if I could have chose two, I would have chose kenpachi too. Rukia should just get stronger, a lot stronger, so she could help Ichigo more. And Kenpachi...he just needs to 😀

From the list, I want to see Matsumoto achieve bankai most. I'd also like to Nemu and Nanao do so too.
What I really want to see is some of the characters who have bankai actually use theirs. Mostly Soi Fon, Yoruichi, Unoahana, Urahara, and Aizen.
... As far as we've seen, if I recall... Yoruichi doesn't even have a zanpaktou(sp).. So where would the Bankai come from o.O?
Well, since she was dealing with an orange-hair kid who could see her, she was kinda distracted back then. Plus, everyone knows in shonen manga if there's any sort of uber strong enemies appearing, returning characters will get a power boost.

Yeah, distraction + protecting an idiot who ran out into a fight and is about to get himself killed == not really showing your full strength.
Pls tell me you ain't taking Ichigo as an excuse. If that's the case Ichigo should've died thousands of times already cause of distractions and that would've meant her true strength was that weak. It was just the scene he needed to introduce Ichigo to the shinigami world so I shouldn't care bout technicalities. But it doesn't make it less hilarious imo.
And it's been a while since I've seen the scene but didn't she just throw herself before Ichigo right before he was planning to sacrifice himself? So not like he was distracting her! If it was a normal scene she would've slashed the head without problems in stead of diving with her chest in it's mouth.
You don't seem to have considered the possibility that Rukia's just gotten significantly stronger over the course of the series. You know, like everyone else has. There's evidence even the captains are steadily growing in strength.
I'm gonna go for Rukia's Bankai, since it's got to be spectacular because she has the prettiest shikai in all of Soul Society. Failing that, Kira's, since his shikai is just so unorthodox and off-the-wall. I mean, his shikai doubles the weight of whatever it strikes. It basically tinkers with the laws of physics. His bankai's certainly going to be weird as hell.
Yes, because Rukia losing her power for the entirety of the Soul Society Arc, and only slowly growing it back, should lead to her getting stronger? Aside from the fact that she did extremely poorly in her training as we saw from the flashbacks in the Soul Society Arc with Renji.
No, Rukia gaining strength was just one more 'oh a whim' thing the mangaka has done.
If you've ever lifted weights, you know that in doing so you're actually tearing individual muscle fibers and, in the short term, making the muscle you're exercising considerably weaker. It's your body realizing that your muscles are being damaged because they're inadequate, and as a result prioritizing them, that makes them stronger. Who's to say the same principle doesn't apply with spirit power? In fact, it must, to some extent, for the possibility of Shinigami training to increase their power to have any applicability. Why shouldn't losing all her power and slowly gaining (or building) it back over time in the end leave her with more power than she had at the beginning of the series?
It may very well be a whim of the mangaka, or a necessary move if he's to preserve Rukia as a relevant character, but given the context of the Bleach world, it isn't so implausible as to be necessarily written off as such.

hmmm...does Kenpachi even have shikai to begin with?? cuz I seem to remember in the manga, after his fight with Ichigo in soul society, it said that kenpachi didn't even know his zanpakutou's (sorry if I spelt it wrong) name?

Kenpachi all the way. He can already beat Noitora without his released zanpakutou. Now if he had bankai...
