Yeah, the chapter was nonsense, but that's not unexpected from this series, so whatever. (But Kabuto hiding in the snake's nose a la Sasuke vs. Deidara was adding insult to injury there.)

From a storytelling perspective, I'm not sure what capturing Yamato is supposed to do, other than force Naruto back into emo rage mode. (Somehow, I don't picture a "rescue Yamato" storyline. Because he's an adult, male, and not Sasuke.) Personally I hope they don't kill Yamato off since he's a good mentor figure for Naruto, useful in battle, and also gets some good one liners on occasion. But it's true: if Naruto can control the 9-tail's abilities now, then there's not much use for Yamato any more...

Maybe Yamato is actually a transformed Naruto. Naruto isn't that dumb, so he kidnapped Yamato and tied him up. Then he transformed into Yamato and allowed himself to be captured so that he can infiltrate Akatsuki's hideout. 🤣 I STRONGLY doubt that though.

The chapter was kinda dull and I didn't really care about the people fighting....except for Kabuto. Hopefully this war starts soon so things pick up.

Really ruined my mood after reading onepiece

Naruto as a series keeps getting to predictable. Bleach was kool. Naruto good. But One Piece amazing. I only keep reading so I can finish it. Pretty sad really.

Ugh, I just hope Yamato doesn't die, we don't need yet another Naruto funeral, especially so soon after Konan died. 😐
