Salutations! I am Avelina. I've been lurking and using this site for quite awhile now. So I've finally decided to signed up. I'm a citizen of Taiwan and Canada. I live in Canada right now. British Columbia, Vancouver.

I'm definitely more of a manga fan rather then an anime fan.

I'm what you would call a bit of a weirdo. I'm the person who sits at the back of the class most of the time. I enjoy sleeping in most of my classes, unless if the teacher is out to get me (Teachers aren't really fond of me). Even though I'm lazy, I'm smart. I can probably tell you the most random facts about blueberries, but the next day I would tell you about the deadly effects of chlorine gas. I guess you can call me an anonymity.

I've rather radical opinions about most things, because of that I tend to keep to myself. I rather not get into a huge discussion about what's "right" or "wrong". I don't want to offend people. Politics is also a sticky topic. So I tend to tip-toe around major issues.

I guess you can group me as an agnostic. Quite of few of my beliefs are based on Confucianism, a system of morals rather then a religion. However my family is Taoist, which is something I'm very well verse in. I've also attend a Catholic private school for one year, even though I was never considered a Catholic.

I mostly listen to Indie music. I've bought the Feist cd a few weeks ago, I really like the song My Moon My Man. However I just discovered Basia Bulat, I really enjoy her music. She is a up and coming Canadian female indie singer. I bought her cd "Oh My Darling" at Rough Trade. Couldn't find her in the major records store. My favourite song from the album is "I Was A Daughter".

I hope I will enjoy my stay here at Baka-Updates Manga.
