my brother said that to me once and it was like a stab at me that i gave the silent treatment when around him for 3 months

Yeah, my brother says all the time: "I wish you would've died back then." I try not to modify his face.

"I wish u were never born !!!!" thats like a weekly thing for me. I get that from my bro but he's small so it never bothers me ...anyway he always comes back and literally forgets that he was a meanie just 2 mins ago. Younger siblings may be whiny, but ur glad that they r there.

if its an everyday thing, i don't think they really mean it...its really different if the your sibling wasn't the kind of person to say mean things...then suddenly says "i wish you would just die"

yeah if it's everyday thing then it will become a habit or just a joke. if suddenly they say so it means they really mean it XD be careful on that one.
