I have a younger sister who's 6 years younger than me. I was the one who wanted a sibling because I was bored and lonely when I was young. My parents worked a lot. Anyways, sometimes she isn't home because she might be at a friends place and it's VERY quiet at home. So, it's good to have a sibling even though there are many arguments between us.
