I am all for good rap music, especially late '80s to the '90s. My favorite rapper is AZ ( was on Life's A Bitch: Nas record )

Favorite song is Sugar Hill by AZ; very similar to Nas.

I can not stand music nowadays.

Soujia Boy and Lil' Wayne ruined it so much! I haven't listened to the radio in 6 years!

Some years ago I regularly listened to Coolio, Ice-T, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Run DMC, Notorious B.I.G., etc.

Do you classify DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince and Digital Underground as good rap? 😉

I haven't listened to much newer rap, though.

If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.

The only rap that I listen to is La Rue Ketanou (they are folk rap....ish...)..beyond them I do not listen to rap.
