Well, I thought the chapter was ok. Nothing special in it though. It's cool knowing that Gai sensei will be there with Naruto. That means that Kisame and Gai will fight again or atleast Gai will make Kisame pissed again for forgetting>_<. Most likely the pissed thing will happen 😛 .

True enough; Naruto did say could've easily become like Sasuke if both Iruka sensei and Sasuke hadn't shown up in his life. But I dunno, I guess for me, choosing not to hold grudges over the past and wanting to prove yourself is one thing, but the fact that he forgives so easily and mostly assumes the best of people (when he's seen first hand just how very bad they can be)... I just find it hard to believe, given his past, that he wouldn't believe the worst on occasion (giving Pain a chance to tell his side of things?!), or be angered by things he has a right to get angry for (like finding out the 4th was his father, that Kakashi & everyone else knew about it, but no one bothered to tell him). For a kid who grew up in the school of hard knocks, it's just too naive.

Oh, Naruto's dark side. Kind of reminds me of Star Wars. I've disliked bee from the beginning... and I still do. Kishimoto is not very good at drawing funny scenes, darker ones suit him more.

I see what you mean now, although he did get angry when he found out that the 4th was his father though (And even punched him in the stomach telling him that it was hell living with the kyuubi inside him).

I dunno how I'm going to react to this Island arc. There could be one last Kisame battle, but that's all I'm really looking forward too. Naruto and the Kyuubi getting along seems a little awkward.
