I'm looking for a woman/girl who is confident in her sexuality and in who she is who is not vilified or portrayed as a slut. She can use men and be almost cruel in her behavior towards them or be really nice, doesn't matter. I really like women who don't put up with any b.s. and who can be considered bitches by the general population. I'm not looking for immaturity and a rebel without a cause or a story that has a woman who starts out this way, but changes her ways "for the better" due to the directive of some man or her "one true love". I suppose she could change, but only if it's her decision and not seen as "corrective behavior" and her previous life style isn't vilified. Just looking for a woman who knows what she wants and who isn't afraid to take it for herself.

Would also like to maybe find a manga with a female lead like this trying to woo an innocent or less experienced male lead.

However, I'm trying to find this character in a non-hentai setting. I don't mind yuri and shoujo ai, but would like to see a heterosexual woman portrayed this way if possible 🙂

Sadly this is a very small category in a very large medium. I like strong women in the things I read. there just aren't enough in manga. Here's my small contribution

Appleseed it is however a sci-fi series.So don't expect a lot of focus on the relationships between characters. It's there, but it's not the main focus.
Arigatou might be too ecchi than what you are looking for.I just love recommending it when I can though.

Errr... Holo from Spice & Wolf (Novel)? She's a pretty confident wolf goddess who is unafraid of using her "charm" (for lack of a better term). I don't know why, but I am drawn to her. She's a very balanced character. You can try watching the anime.

The first to come to mind is Silver (FUJITA Kazuko), but the thing to keep in mind is that she's the typical innocent shoujo heroine in the first arc. When she discovers her boyfriend deceived her and cheated on her, she undergoes an immense change in her personality and transforms into the heroine you described in your request. Anyway, this might be exactly what your looking for if you're willing to stick to her being naive and gullible for a huge chunk of the beginning.

I actually got the wrong manga link. It's not Silver but Silver (FUJITA Kazuko). They have the same name but are made by two entirely different mangaka. Sorry about that!

I recently read another manga that fits: Talking About... The story surrounds a group of four female friends and each one gets about the same amount of screen time in the manga, so it's fairly accurate to say there are 4 main characters. Anyway~ one of main characters, called Amber, definitely fits your request: Amber is confident of her sexuality, competent at work, and is not afraid of having many sexual relationships.

Over Rev! was almost exactly what I was looking for, I absolutely loved the street racing aspect of it as well. Thanks 🙂 and Appleseed looks really interesting.
