No. I enjoy shoujo most of the time but some works really get in your nerves but I still love it. 🙂
Some mangas get on my nerves.
But just like shounen has its fair annoying cliches, doesn't mean I'd hate the entire demographic just cause of that.
Some shoujo is good.
i read a lot of shoujo manga and i found it all the same,,
i mean.,,same lame jokes same romance ,,but some of them were good,..
sort of
wew,,, ^^

I seem to have a neverending love for cheesy stupid romantic never-gonna-happen-in-real-life shoujo... In other words, it's pretty good.

It's more of a dislike and avoidance for me.
I keep reading the summaries over and over, and other readers' reviews before I force myself to try a chapter. As a result, I've only read or watched a limited number of shoujo titles.
However, there are some good ones that I've discovered - Glass Mask, Skip Beat, Kimi ni Todoke, Lovely Complex and Sand Chronicles are good reads, for me at least. Nana is also good. However, I've created an alternative ending in my mind, where Nana (Hachi*) is paired up with someone else, different from where the anime left off. (Yes, it broke my heart to see her suffer.)
I really do wish there would be a continuation of Glass Mask. It's such an incredible piece. There was gradual character development, and the focus was correctly placed more on her growth career-wise and character instead of her love life.

For me it depends in what kind of shoujo it is. I know that most shoujo, especially newer shoujo, tends to be really cheesy, over-dramatic and unrealistic where the heroine is a weak and naive doll. I, however, try to find shoujo where the heroine has a mind of her own and is strong enough to act without having the male lead having to lead the way. Like ouran, skip beat and so on

Nope! I know lots of shoujo have the same typical love-triangle plot ideas and stuff, but I can't hate it. I love to read shoujo, it helps me relax (or even escape) from reality. Plus, I love the adorable art.
But I admit that there are SOME shoujo mangas that I dislike. I especially don't like weak heriones...but there are plenty of shoujo mangas that don't have weak heriones.
I say that it's all in the matter of opinion. ^^

Increasingly, yes. Most of the manga I have read is shoujo, but keep in mind I began reading manga when i was 11-12. Lately I've been avoiding most of it, and have instead focusing more on seinen. I do enjoy shoujo that focus mainly on comedy and the kind of shoujo that are labeled "refreshingly different".
Mahou shoujo is fine by me anyday, however. (;

Despite being a guy, I admit I've tried reading a few shoujo manga before. To be honest, some of the stories does seem interesting, for example Bride of the Water God. But more often than not, it's the art style that keeps me away.

No! I don't hate shoujo, but I dislike the sugary-type shoujo. I drop reading those types of shoujo.

I don't know if it has anything to do with being a guy but well, I think what I dislike most about shoujo is the drawing, then shounen-ai factor and finally stupid story.

Overall no, although now I dislike most shoujos that don't have a little more to their plot than 'will she won't she confess'; I like them with a twist!

I rate manga with 5 being the average score.
