Well i can't stand the sparkly style shoujo, I don't actully puke but i get ill or atlesat i feel ill when i see it.

well it really depends on the story.. but i get tired of the main female character crying her eyes out over something in every single chapter!! that just annoy the life of me! but some shoujo i don't mind because of its plot (even when there are an enormous amount of crying going on) but overall i'm ok with shoujo-type manga :]

I can't really say I 'hate' anything since I reserve that word for things that need downright negativity... I like Shoujo because of the detailed art...but its predicitibilty..yeah, the down fall there.

But I still enjoy reading and writing reveiws for em' and if i'm gonna read something predictable as a Shoujo stereotypical romance - I wanna have a particular brand of predicitibilty...the kind that makes you feel good in the end even though you knew it was gonna come together like that from the beginning : )

nope, dun hate it..i like shoujo n most of my manga are shoujo ....

but i hate shoujo dat has annoying heroine character dat always cry and makes small thing as a big deal...... >:-(

I don't hate shoujo. It can get annoying sometimes though.

i dont hate, because that's what i read, shoujos. its that few characters are annoying.

I do but only after reading a couple of annoying series the only shoujo i can stand is platinum garden mainly because the female character doesn't spend a whole vol in tears over nothing and boys over flowers is good i use to read tail of the moon as well but put it on hold

I think lots of Shoujos have good premises and stories, but sometimes the art annoys me. I guess I don't like that "pretty" type art style that a lot of shoujos have. A shoujo I liked was Aishiteruze Baby. But that might be because the lead was a male. And that story was just damn cute.

That long hair and romantic talk just doesn't do it for me.

Don't hate it but sometimes I switch to other genres cause a lot of Shoujo manga have similar plots and sometimes the girls are annoying. xp But a good point about it is most Shoujo has pretty art.. -^.^-

"hate" is such a strong word...let's say "dislike" since I don't hate all shoujo...I just dislike the majority of it...

but I would like to say that one good thing I got from the dislike pile is that I discovered the joy or reading other genre than shoujo or shounen like shounen-ai and yaoi 😲 . If I had never gotten mad at the story lines then I would have never given the others a chance. 😮

I don't get it. Why would people who hate shoujo even come into a forum labeled Shoujo/Josei to vote in this poll anyway?
