Nope. Flowers (most of the time), plushies, and even balloons... but never chocolate T_T Just shows how much they know about me.
Monkey Bump~! (=O*-*)=O
When it's the American way, yes. Since everyone gets chocolates or flowers. XD
But we celebrate it different. I used to get chocolates every 14th of the month since it's a different holiday back at home. XD But we do follow the tradition of women giving men chocolate on Feb. 14 and on March 14 they give us different gifts, doesn't have to be chocolate but some still give it do though. ._.

I don't get chocolates or anything, although last year I was offered a friendship flower from a classmate, he apparently thought we were close friends, I ended up rejecting it because it felt too gross. XD
I'm not that girly, but if someone offered chocolates, and they look good I would accept them but would still end up rejecting the person. XD
I can't say no to chocolates. XD

Yes, I have given, as well as received, things for Valentine's Day, and not just chocolate.

Valentines day means nothing to me.
Just another day on the calendar.
So no. I don't give or get any chocolates.

Valentine's is a really overdone commerical holiday sponsored by card companies and candy/flower sellers. I don't think of it as romantic at all.
But I do give friendship chocolate, simply because it makes a good excuse to spoil my friends. I wish I could make them home-cooked sweets instead though.
Polite bump.
Nope, never got it! T__T I like chocolate! D: The day is kinda cute for couples, but I don't like how it's all commercialized and stuff, and there's like this pressure that you NEED to have a partner when that day comes. o_o;

February 14, right in the middle of the Lupercalia. But Christians didn't like other people celebrating their religious holidays, so they made up Valentine's day and forced it upon them.
Pretty much how Chrisitanity opperates, so it's kind of lucky the Catholic church has a saint for every day, just in case some new holiday pops up that need Christianization. But there's no longer anything even slightly religious about V-day anymore.

This is pretty much my view on V-day. Haven't celebrated it since elementary school and don't ever plan on starting.
