Mind you, this is not a post to claim that the manga is better than the anime ore the other way around. Its just a long wait until v14 is released, so i guess there are a lot of manga readers who also saw the anime (now finished at 26 ep). To ease my boredom for the long wait, I will just ask you guys, who both read the manga and have seen the anime. What did you thought of the ending of the anime and what do you think of the anime storyline compared the manga storyline, the role of raki etc....: just discuss and have fun.^^

PS: I could also have post this at baka updates, but I personally prefer to read the manga, so this is the reason why i posted it here, please dont feel insulted in any way.......

I'm sad that they only aired Claymore for only 26 eps. Hopefully, they make another season. As for the manga, I'm waiting for the next chapter to come out... The ending of the anime was disappointing. Doesn't even tell of what happens to Isley or Priscilla, not only that, Helen, Deneve and Miria all split up.. Don't really like that happening. Oh, also for the manga, you know that raki is with Isley, but what actually happens with him?... i wonder if he's stronger.

Well in the anime the reunion between raki and clare was kinda, well how do i describe it, disappointing, but i guess thats all they could do in episode. I guess that in one of the next volumes of the manga raki and clare will reunite (after 7 years!!!), i m hoping for something more spectacular. Dont hope that raki is still as wimpy as in the anime^^. By the way, i have always wondered what the relationship between raki and clare was: brother sister love, or lovers love?

I was seriously disappointed in the anime. I didn't like the ending. Didn't like how they split from the manga storyline. And even before they split from the manga storyline... I didn't like how they handled some scenes.
They really could have done way better with claymore.

Even more sadly is how they minced and rolled up the storyline at the end. I sincerely doubt they are gonna make a second season since the story is beyond repair. Well, that's my opinion. If anyone disagrees, then fine.

I agree, the fight between priscilla and clare was kinda dissapointing too, a little forced, and as exspected, raki intervened 🙂

Like everyone else i was really disappointed with the lame ending of anime >:-(

they $%^&ed up the ending because they wanted it to end wrong. the anime can no longer can continue because they can no longer follow the manga story, fans can make a better ending. plus rubie mention no.1 and no.2 can handle the top job but they left out the best what the organization can offer.i have no idea how raki can live with pricilla and isley for 7 years without noticing they are awaken unless he accepts them like clare.

I found it the opposite, I've dug them both. =,=

The anime, I dislike how it went in a COMPLETELY different direction from the manga at around episode 22 (or something like that) it started edging off at the part where Pric was eating guts. Seriously, then it zoomed off and turned right, where the manga turned left.
The anime is good before then, but then its gone.

The manga is much better then the anime, although the art style takes getting used to.

Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?

Didn't like the anime ending at all, now how are they going to fix this mess if they plan on doing a season 2?

Although I found the fight between Claire and Priscilla pretty good..
