hmm.... i still have few more eps to finish the anime
well, as im a manga person (manga 90% of the time has better story than the anime periode), i prefer to watch the anime to get the bad ending then read the manga and feel better with the good ending, same with flame of recca, was shocked with the lame ending of the anime, but the manga was diff ~_^

imo, most of the time, for manga that have story the anime tend to do worse and for no plot ones, anime tend to do better

I believe some producers want the anime to be different from the manga so viewers would be more interested... The thing about "not making it better but worse" is suspicious -__-

whee, i watched anime first then, after 6 months(more-less didn't count really) readed manga
to say i was shocked is to say nothing:
Anime:
1.Wow, intresting
2.Cool!
3.(at the last ep's) YEAH! BLENDER-MIXER MIX ROCKS!!! Ahahahah 😀

then at the manga version:
1.Heh, anime is exactly same as manga ver.
2.WTF? No cutted eps? Looks like anime is completly the same

Well, it seems that anime and manga "Claymore" is now will be different

i've seen both, and i was really looking forward to the anime, it started of good, theme song alrite, the fight at the beginning rocked, also did the fight with rigaldo. then it turned for the worse. i guess they wanted to wrap it up and focus with the manga. honestly i couldn't even finish the last episodes as it felt like a much poorer version of dragonball GT.

I was sad with the anime's ending, because I wanted Clare to make Priscilla into mincemeat. (Theresa was my favorite character, so I wanted Priscilla to pay.) 😀 Plus, it's a bit disappointing that Number 1 and 2 didn't show up in the anime. I thought Miria's plan in Pieta was brilliant too. Still, I don't really like the results of the main team's training for the last seven years.

Clare can use the Windcutter indefinitely, but her sword speed is lower. Miria's new mirage can also be used indefinitely, but, again, is overall slower. To me, it's like they trained for years and got weaker. I do acknowledge the fact that they took care of the problem of possibility of awakening, but still...

what i cant understand is how could claire overwhelm pricilla the anime last eps when while partly awaken (80% of youma released) she was only as strong as the lion beast who is himself very inferior to isley and pricilla.
can the claymores in the anime unleash more than 100% of youma, lika claire 😕 😕

Yea, I saw the anime before I read the manga. Yea, I thought it was badass, but I felt the ending was disappointing (the Priscilla vs. Claire fight I felt was weak). My friend also felt disappointed with the last fight and he doesn't read manga. However, he's convinced that there will be a second season, but an alternate story. They really need to make another season because they've already introduced elements that expands the story (such as the Abyssal Ones). For those that don't read manga, they're gonna feel disappointed if they don't continue with the story.

Of course, they royally screwed up the ending in the anime, so if there is another season, it will have to be an alternate story. I'm convinced that this alternate story won't even compare to the original story since the final fight was anime-only and was sub-par compared to the rest of the anime. But I also hold a bias that anything different from the manga storyline is garbage (pretty much referring to fillers) so I'm probably not being fair. However, it doesn't change the fact that the manga storyline is great and the anime screwed up any chance of continuing with this great storyline. And if they wanted to change the storyline so much, I would have rather they killed Raki instead of doing what they did, but that's just me rambling.

they did good with the anime although the last two episodes need to be redone. in the manga raki is with priscilla and easley, and clare and the rest of the pieta survivors are off doing their own thing. they make the anime to difficult to be following the manga now with those last two episodes. I hope they make raki stronger too, maybe a male claymore or a half-awakened being.

It's wierd how i got attached to this series, everything is just really original, with a woman protecting a teenage boy and kissing him. Then the boy finding the two most powerful badguys and 1 likes to cuddle with him, and another likes to teach him to be a better fighter. And these boy reminds clare and the two badguys about they're past very strongly. Interesting series even though Raki cries a little too much in the anime and the concept is based on female fighters.

They would have to redo the ending of the first season to make it follow the manga. I do not think they could get away with running a completely different story then the manga in a second season.

OMG! I hate the anime! I was sooooooooooooooooooooo pissed when I saw it! ARGH! I read somewhere that the anime differed from the manga so I grabbed some popcorn and went to work. But the story is exactly the same! I sat there and it felt like I was watchin a re-run! The manga is drawn so vividly that I forget its pictures in a book. If they were going to make an anime the story should have deviated from the manga long before ep what 24? And then it kinda felt rushed. I was so let down. That has never happen before. BOOO! BOOO! to the anime! 🤢

Some people are like slinkies, not really good for anything but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs. 🙂
