oh dear lord.... this is crazy... I know Keanu is a good actor but definitely he wont be suitable for Spike's role, he just doesn't come right with this role... man, I can see how they are going to ruin this story with all those hollywood stars and cliches....NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! cries

Man I think even Jim Carrey would be a better choice. I like Keanu as an actor but he does'n fit this role.

Though I have to admit, aside from standing around and looking "cool," Reeves has never been known for his stellar performances. Liked him in Constantine, even if it was nothing like the comics.

Really? Hope he pulls it off for this one. IMO it's still too early too judge unless we see the movie itself.

I have to admit that Keanu could definitely LOOK the part (which may be why he got it), but I don't know if he can ACT it. I imagine it's a function of the script and directing as wel as Keanu's ability. (I think he CAN do it, I just don't know if he WILL.)

I would say Ryan Reynolds could do it, but he's almost too pretty-boy to play Spike. I definitely think he could act as Spike, though.

I'm just glad it's not Christian Bale. I love Christian Bale to death and think he's a superb actor, but even though he could easily look and act it, it just wouldn't be the right fit. (I can't wait to see him in Terminator 4 though. He's perfect for that. Please lord, give it a good storyline...)
