I am an American Indian of Mexican descent. My family has lived in Southern California in the USA since before it was the USA. It's funny because my family always taught the kids that the US stole our entire region from the Mexican Government way back in the day. The best part is that my Great Grandma was actually deported to Southern Mexico for being an illegal immigrant back in the 1920's when it was the border that snuck south around her (not her sneaking north above the border). Awesome. So, ethnically speaking, I am considered a Native American, but I don't own any horses or wear feathers in my hair.
