Yup for sure... I know I cried at one point in Fushigi Yuugi

I also know that a lot of manga makes me cry when it is really sad and angsty

but I cry easy when it comes to stories, haha

Cried? For manga-- sorta... I screamed in frustration once when I found out a series I started reading stopped in the middle of translation and it hadn't been picked up in over a year. Otherwise never with manga.

Anime on the other hand... I did with the ending episode of Cowboy bebop. When Spike says his goodbyes and goes off to die... I still get a little teary eyed thinking about it.

Scratch another one up to Key and KyoAni- Clannad episode 9 had me all choked up, although I didn't actually cry. What a beauty. I don't think the series will be able to top that.

I'm an emotional person, so I often cry if I watch or read the sad part of the anime or manga.
I remember I cry most for Bokura ga Ita & Fate Stay night, both of this anime ending really tear my heart apart. .oH.. oh, not forgetting Sailormoon & Ai Tenshi Densetsu Wedingu Pīchi too!
as for manga, Mucha Mucha Daisuki, Parfait Tic and fews more (I read the Malay version so I don't know the Japanese/English title)

Several times when reading Ai Kora. But they were tears of laughter because Ai Kora is the most hilarious manga ever.

As far as actual cases of crying go. I think I got a bit teary eyed a few times when watching Eureka 7. Partly because I was sad and partly because its just such an amazing story.

I think I tend to get more emotional due to my admiration for an awesome storyline than I do for something thats actually sad, but the combination can just totally kick my ass.

Lol, my sister was crying at that movie too. Funny thing is, I didn't cry even though I'm over-emotional a lot. My family just stared at her for a bit and she says, "Shut up! It's sad!"
Basically, almost every genre I read makes me cry, but shoujo especially. Even when a story is part comedy, it always has at least one part that chokes me up.

I personally get really sentimental with manga/anime (I can't help it!) so don't hit me when I say these are the ones I have cried at:

Shinshi Doumei Cross
Fushigi Yugi (anime version)
Alice 19th
Ayashi no Ceres (anime & manga version)
Full Moon Wo Sagashite (manga version)

There are probably more but I can't think of them right now. I'm a sap. 😀
